UltraConnect
telemetry communicators are designed to
provide high availability for SCADA applications
with a
range of broadband and wireless WAN interfaces.
The UltraConnect connects to the Remote
Telemetry Unit (RTU)
using serial, VF (modem) or ethernet interfaces
and routes the traffic over the least-cost
network.
Together with the UHS UltraAgent server,
the UHS telemetry solution allows operators
to upgrade their existing
leased-line or dialup SCADA systems to fully-managed
and redundant IP networks, without requiring
replacement
of the existing RTU equipment.
